With more and more possibilities, values being turned upside down, difficulties in the work environment, entering the working life can be difficult. Some young people, willing to have a meaningful life, look for their own path in this complex situation.
The Institutes of Formation of Fondacio (IFF) aim at answering this priotity, and are devoted to training the youth on each continent : in Angers (France), Lomé (Togo), Manilla (Phillipines) and soon Santiago (Chili).
Students, Christians or not, can define and set up a professional and meaningful plan, serving society. These Institutes also offer to those who are Christians some training programs adapted to desire to live their faith in the heart of their professional and personal commitments.
The training programs are animated following Fondacio’s pedagogy, including personal questioning, re-reading, intellectual input, internships and places to commit.
IFF Asia started in 2006. It is aimed at young people willing to commit and take part into the revival of the Church and civil society. It trains pastoral animators and also offers a Master in Development Management, in partnership with Cagayan’s Xavier-Ateneo University. «I used to say : « I will never accept any responsibilities ! ». During this year, I got to know what responsibility means a bit better, to the point that I started to like it. Little by little, I became more and more passionate. The recognition I received helped me become more self-confident and motivated me. I decided I would stop to exclude myself all the time and I chose my career guidance.»
