The Centro Occupational Hortiterapéutico (COH) started to operate again with the Allinmapu Club, this time with new members within the club, who are grateful to be back, little by little, to meet virtually with their friends. The same situation is experienced by the four groups of workshops on organic cultivation of medicinal plants, who have returned in May to carry out their activities.
But that's not all, as for the remainder of the first semester, the COH has prepared a variety of activities, including the closing of module 1 of the virtual meetings, with the aim of group evaluation of the contents learned in which the benefits of horticulture therapy, the concept of natural agriculture, the correct preparation of the soil, the making of a press, and the pressing of medicinal plants, as well as the making of a herbarium, are taught.
To end the semester they will have the closure of an interactive activity carried out in conjunction with the team of the Los Almendros Library, in order to bring culture and recreation to the participating team.
As a great help for the effective realization of these events, the COH to integrated Belén Sanhueza, a student in practice of Occupational Therapy at the University Santo Tomás.
