A look back at the day of the Engaged 2021!
Fondacio France's Engaged Members from the French West met on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Angers (49). Here are some pictures of this day of celebration, in union with all the communities of France and full of enthusiasm for the future.
On Saturday, March 20, the day of the "Engagés du Grand Ouest" took place in Angers. The morning began at 9am at the Saint Laud Church for a time of praise and teaching, after which each participant joined his or her own small sharing group for an enactment of the parable of the Good Samaritan.
At the end of this time in small groups, each participant was given a small drop on which to write his or her name and main commitment.
The celebration of three YESes
The ceremony of the Long-term Commitments was held in the afternoon in the church of Saint Laud and brought together about a hundred people, members of Fondacio, but also friends and families of the new Long-term Commitments. With Mgr. Delmas, Bishop of Angers, François Prouteau, President of Fondacio, welcomed each one in his or her commitment to the Church.
During this celebration, the three new long-term Engaged pronounced their YES! A YES that irrigates all the others!

We also had the joy of welcoming 8 new engaged members, Frédéric and Elisabeth from the Nantes community and Magali, Laura, Sabine, Dominique, Christine, Sophie from the Angers community.
Each new engaged member then received a small white stone in their hand, to signify this new stage in their journey of covenant with Christ and the brothers and sisters of Fondacio.
This pebble bears the name Fondacio, symbolizing the bond with Christ who welcomes us and blesses us on this journey.
